TerminusDB runs where you want it: on a cloud marketplace, on your own infrastructure, or as managed hosting. This page collects the hosting options for TerminusDB — formerly DFRNT Hub and TerminusCMS, one service and one lineage, now one product name.

## Hosting options

### Azure Marketplace

Coming autumn 2026: TerminusDB on the Azure Marketplace — a VM image that will run in your own Azure subscription and bill through Azure. See [Deploy on Azure](/docs/deploy-on-azure/) for details and the listing preview.

### Self-hosted

TerminusDB is open source under Apache 2.0 and runs anywhere Docker does. See the [Docker install](/docs/install-terminusdb-as-a-docker-container/), [self-hosted installation](/docs/self-hosted-installation/), or [Kubernetes](/docs/install-on-kubernetes/) guides.

### Managed TerminusDB Cloud

Gettier, the team maintaining TerminusDB since 2025, hosts TerminusDB data products as a managed service — currently in early access.
